Polar Bear Recap Destination #8

Hello Fellow Polar Bear,
RECAP:
The ride was truly a Polar Bear weather type of ride. It was cold, damp and windy. But that didn’t stop a total of 27 members to arrive at Suburban Brewing Co for check-in. There were 24 riders and 3 passengers.
The next Polar Bear event and destination is Saturday, Jan 28th at Kim and Don’s home for breakfast. Sign-in time is 9:00 – 10:00AM. The forecast as of now will be sunshine with a high of 35 degrees. We just keep getting great weather for great riding.

RECAP:
What a great New Year’s Day ride to our 7th Polar Bear destination. The sunny skies and warm temperatures convinced a total 40 members to arrive at Deb and Dave’s home for check-in. There were 32 riders and 8 passengers.
Deb and Dave, we all would like to thank you for hosting the New Year’s Day Ride once again.
The next Polar Bear event and destination is Saturday, Jan 14th at Suburban Brewing Co. Sign-in time is 12:30 – 1:30PM. The forecast as of now will be mostly cloudy with a high of 38 degrees. Yet another good day for a ride.

RECAP:
The ride had a few snow flurries on the way to our 6th Polar Bear destination. I hope snow is not going to be a common theme. A total of 28 members arrived at Victory Brewing Co for check-in. There were 23 riders, 3 passengers and 2 people joined us by car.

The next Polar Bear event and destination is Sunday, Jan 1st at Deb and Dave Weik’s. Sign-in time is 9 – 10AM. The forecast as of now is overcast with rain showers at times and a high of 52 degrees. But that prediction is a longways off. The day could be sunny and 60 degrees. It could…..

Polar Bear Recap Destination #5
Sunday, December 11th, 2022Hello Fellow Polar Bear,
RECAP:
The ongoing struggle between Punxsutawney Phil and Jack Frost resulted in Jack getting the upper hand and giving us a snowy ride to our 5th Polar Bear destination. A total of 9 members arrived at Thunderhead Lodge for check-in. There were 7 riders and 2 people joined us by car.
The photos that Todd took really sum up the day.

This next photo shows that Todd and I reserved plenty of overflow seating.
Everyone enjoyed their meal and what a selection. Thunderhead Lodge even has a brunch menu.
Last but not least this photo shows the Polar Bear Program puts smiles on our members faces.
